Getting started

First step, install the plugin.

By default, Task Zero will pick up tasks as you work on your notes. It won’t go out and automatically suck in all the tasks across your entire vault.

I decided this would be the safest way to ease into things - especially if you have hundreds or even thousands of legacy todo items scattered across your notes. As soon as you make a change to any note, the tasks in that specific note will be picked up and added into the system.

Important

Please note that a block ID will be added to the end of each task - see Task metadata for more details.

If you plan to use Task Zero alongside another task plugin, please test in a Sandbox vault first to make sure there are no issues.
